MISSING: families-only performance

Missing will premiere on 1 November 2017 during the Downtown Eastside Heart of the City Festival, before an invited audience of families, friends and the DTES community of the missing. This event is guided by an advisory group of four DTES-involved aboriginal women and elders. It will be presented in the context of ceremony led by elders.  Grief counselors will be in attendance. Cedar brushing and smudging will be available. A Book of Remembrance may be signed by all who wish, and will thereafter travel with the opera.

This special event is being co-produced by Vancouver Moving Theatre / The Downtown Eastside Heart of the City Festival.

There will be no media, and no charge for tickets.
