Lovers say hello and, all too often, goodbye. Villains say goodbye and, all too often, hello. The music of Puccini, Rossini, Verdi, and others enriches the meaning of these greetings with unforgettable melodies and soaring voices.
Il Centro favourites Shadan Saul, soprano, and Sunny Shams, tenor, are joined by Andrew Greenwood, baritone, and Charlotte Beglinger, mezzo-soprano, accompanied by David Boothroyd, piano. Tom Durrie acts as host and narrator. City Opera Vancouver partners with Il Centro to bring you this evening of musical and dramatic delight and wonder.
