Jayson McLean
Production Manager, 2008 - 2020

SAD AND SUDDEN NEWS / 7 August 2020
Our great friend and longtime colleague, production manager Jayson McLean, has passed at the age of 54. He died at St Paul’s Hospital, with his wife Veronica at his side. We have no other details at this time, but send our love and gratitude for his life and work.
Jayson first came to us in 2008 as TD on our production of DER KAISER VON ATLANTIS, at the Rothstein Theatre. He has been Production Manager on ALL of our MainStage productions since then. Most recently, he led production of BERLIN: THE LAST CABARET at PuSh. He would have built CHINATOWN in September 2021.
City Opera has no more faithful and enterprising a friend than Jayson. Nor has anyone.
