Saying goodbye to General Manager Anna Pidgorna

Anna Pidgorna will step down from the position of General Manager of City Opera Vancouver at the end of November 2025. Anna offered administrative support to the daily running of the company, to our fully staged production of the opera Sophia’s Forest, the recitals Voices from the African Diaspora and Salam-Shalom: Echoes of Home, and our Opera Pubs series. “I am proud of our achievements over the last year and learned a great deal in my role,” she writes. After completing her one-year contract with City Opera Vancouver, Anna has chosen to refocus her attention on her creative work and the development of her own company, Pickle Underground.  We wish her all the best in her endeavors.
